It's a brand new UAAP season and here we are wondering if them kids be alright throughout the course of the year. We had an entire year (well almost) off from the MoA Arena and Araneta Coliseum that you are left wondering if the points of each team will significantly go up instead of having to slog through games where it ends at 60, 70 because of chucksters that the analysts can't help but just label them as having a scorer's mentality just so we won't step on those dainty toes.  What is the offseason for? UE Red Warriors 90-83 Notable Players: Prince Orizu, FEU (15 points, 16 rebounds, 2 blocks) : UE simply could not match Orizu’s presence in the paint on both ends of the floor. Orizu had his 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 blocks in the 1 st 7 minutes of the game alone, right before UE adjusted by sending more double teams. This will be a very straightforward post that aims to answer some questions regarding the Eagles so let's just get it started. 1. This team seems more capable of going all the way compared to last year's team. I'll be very frank. Last year's team had no business being the #1 seed. The talent that the team had last year was nothing compared to the depth that NU, La Salle, FEU, UE and hell even UST had. That's not to say that Newsome and Elorde sucked. I'm just saying that last year's team isn't as deep as others. This year, that isn't the case. Quite literally, anyone from the team can be an immediate contributor. Need threes? Get Arvin or Von.
