Quick Fire: De La Salle Green Archers flexes muscles, dominates UE Red Warriors to notch Final Four slot

UE Red Warriors 99-78 Notable Players: Santi Santillian, La Salle (14 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks): You can't blame people for giving the Troy Rosario comparison to Santi, it's warranted. He's not as fluid, but his nose for the ball and physical tools scream sure-fire PBA prospect. Justine Baltazar, La Salle (13 points, 6/6 FG): Baltazar there is potential in him becoming more than a big man with the movement he displayed off the ball to get open jumpers. He's long, fairly athletic and his skills are starting to catch-up.  Alvin Pasaol, UE (23 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals): Seriously, he managed to score 23 even though Ben was draped all over him. He doesn't just chuck up shots. He takes his time, and waits for the shot to get to him. He had to work for it, but he still managed to score. Major props. UAAP Season 77 Juniors Basketball Finals Preview: Freaky Friday (Ateneo Blue Eaglets vs. NU Bullpups)

Last year, the Finals of the UAAP Juniors Basketball season also had Ateneo and NU as its main protagonists. Ateneo had standouts Thirdy Ravena, Jme Escaler and Aaron Black to lead the Katipunan based High School, while NU had (ironically) current Atenean Hubert Cani and JP Cauilan to lead the charge of the Bullpups. For that Finals series, NU possessed a thrice to beat advantage after sweeping the competition, while Ateneo had to go through the rigorous step ladder format in order to reach the Finals. To cut it short, Ateneo fell short in the end for both games. and ultimately. NU became champions.  Shift to Season 77.
